For "Hands of Levitation" I thought I would feature lighting and a process that I use of selective impressions. I'm finding that stamping less can be more effective than stamping complete images. To give the illustion of light, just simply wiping off a part of a design before making the impression can give one a big head start in stating that the area --that is wiped off-- is reflecting light. See this treatment on the Boulders w/Lichen design and also on the floating figure and even on the foreground crooked limb image that is stamped in white. This also turned into a study in gel pen dots. Things got a little muddy with my coloring so I amped up the scene with dots galore which added nice texturing. ~KN
