Note: This is another of about 4-5 postcards that I had on a bulletin board above my computer for about 3 years. I always liked this scene (not because it has my name on it) because of the "feel" that comes from the blue paper as a ground. The scene has a different emotional quality to it than the standard of stamping on to white paper and toning it out from there in whatever fashion. I guess it really says "night" to me or something like that. It's a simple card in terms of composition but is really rich at the same time.
