Artists Note: Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado is my favorite place on earth. Your "Tall Peak" stamp reminds me so much of Longs Peak, which is the focal point of RMNP. I created this on one of those days when I was especially missing the mountains, so for a title I think I'd have to call this "Hiking Is Life".

KN Note: This is a beautifully executed scene. Between the lighting and color scheme, composition, detailed highlighting, textural and value contrasts, depth, and subject movement this piece has it all. The soft spotlight illumination of the water's path carries the viewers eye straight up the falls from the hikers feet to the circling flock. The highlights enhance the lighting statement perfectly. When a scene comes together like this one, for me, it's no longer a matter of stamping a scene but more of a illustration of emotion and mood.
