Lesson: Cabin and Doe
Spring and the stream. 4.25" x 5.5"

Cabin Lg is stamped in dye based Black and Marvy #72 Pine Green. The green was added as highlights on the tree tops. I did this by inking up the entire stamp with black and then taking a pen and blending green into tree areas directly on the stamp.

The black green combination is being used here on the Twisting Oak.

Sedge Cluster (sm) is being stamped in black to create water edge grass line.

Sedge Filler is being used to fill in the space between the cabin and the Sedge Cluster.

Ranger Sea Shell "Sandal" was sponged into the scene. This color was applied to the grass and cabin.

Ranger Sea Shell "Sea Grass" was sponged into the meadow.

Marvy #6 "Brown" was sponged into areas on the cabin such as under the eves and the right wall to create shadows and to areas at the base of trees.

Marvy #92 Celery was sponged into the meadow to brighten up the greens of the scene.

Marvy #72 Pine Green was added to the base of the cabin and under the trees to further enhance the shadow areas of the scene. Note the angle of the Colorbox Stylus Tool. I angle the tool to get thinner applications of ink when it's called for.

A rich green and brown surface.

Ranger Sea Shells "Ocean Aqua" is being added to the sky here.

Ocean Aqua was added to areas in the sky and water.

To add depth to the Scene Cattails Lg was added in black in multiple angles.

Gel pens in pastel green and pink were added to the grassy meadow for highlights, sparkle and wildflowers.

Doe was added to the scene in black. I wiped off some of the bottom part of the feet so that the doe would appear as if it's standing in the grass where its feet disappear.

A bounty of pink in green.
