Ranger Distress Ink "Old Paper" was sponged into the scene. I wanted to give this scene a rustic feel by using this hue.

Ranger Sea Shells "Ocean Aqua" was streaked into the water.

Ranger Distress Ink "Tattered Rose" was streaked into the sky.

Marvy #6 "Brown" was applied to the sky.

Marvy #28 "English Red" was applied to the sky.

Marvy #6 Brown was streaked into the water. I wanted to increase the depth and tonal range of the water by building up the values and colors.

Marvy #18 "Dark Brown" was streaked into the sky and water on the edges of the card.

A light tan Tombow Brush Marker was used to color in the sails.

A light blue Tombow Brush Marker was used to color the octopus tentacles.

Palm Frond was added to the foreground in different angles using black.

A white gel pen was used to add hightlights, sparkle and texture to the scene.
