Lesson: Silver Falls
Falling for You. 4.25" x 5.5" glossy card stock

Side Falls Lgwas stamped in black.

A ripped paper towel was used to mask off the Side Falls Lg and Gushing Falls Lg was stamped in black. Try and have some of the foreground Side Falls showing when you make the second impression. This way you will avoid getting blank spaces in between your objects. It's more seamless this way.

Ledgewas stamped to the side of the Gushing Falls Lg in black to fill out that blank space.

Cloud Altocumulus was stamped in Marvy #60 Salvia Blue in the water in mutiple impressions.

Ranger Sea Shells "Ocean Aqua" was sponged into the scene. Some areas were left white to create a "shimmer" in the scene brought about by a variety of values across the scene. Don't tone everything in other words.

Marvy #60 "Salvia Blue" was applied to the scene. It was basically applied to the same areas as the previous color only a little more sparingly.

Marvy #12 "Grey" was added to the select areas in the rocks. I added this grey to the shadow areas of the rocks. Just look for the darker areas on the design and you'll see where to add this tone.

Pines with Rocks small was stamped in Marvy #1 "Black" with green highlights. The highlights were done by coloring the tops of an inked up stamp with a green Marvy pen.

Solo Canoe 159A was stamped into the scene to create a focal point.

Colorbox "Frost White" pigment ink was added to the scene in very thin layers in areas in the area around falling water to create a misty effect.

A white gel pen is being used to add dots around the base of the falls for added shimmer and sparkle.

The shimmering clear waters.
