Lesson: Forest Lights
4.25" x 5.5" glossy card stock

Twisting Pine was stamped four times in black and Sedge Filler filled in the forest floor. Two stamps and a very simple compostion.

"Peach Bellini" was applied with a Stylus Tool. I left some of the forest floor light or the white of the paper so as to create light and variation on the ground.

Marvy #16 "Pale Orange" was added on the floor/grass.

Marvy #6 "Brown" was added.

Wanting to warm things up in the scene a little and to add richness to the color scheme, a light yellow was added in spots.

To extend the temperature range of the scene a "Ocean Aqua" was applied to the areas that I left the white of the paper.

Buck Lg. was stamped in black.

White dots were applied to the scene with a White Gel Pen. I've highligted the grass mounds and trees. Some larger dots trim the Pine Trees.

Using a cotton swab, white pigment ink has been lightly dabbed on to the larger dots on the trees giving them a "glow".
