Black Claybord Experiment by Ava Lindberg, ME 2003

Note: Ava tried out black Claybord and gave up on the scene at one point passing it to her kids to play around with. Going back, she reworked it some and I thought came out with a nice textural statement and quite a nice piece.

Ava: Well, I kept walking by that piece that I gave my kids- they totally creamed the sky- but I could not get myself to throw it out... It was stamped with platinum brilliance and then colored with Marvy markers. The sky was completely sanded out. My hands are a strange shade of blue.
