Ship John Shoal Lighthouse by Joe Nathan, NV 2001

Located Delaware Bay off Fortesque, New Jersey. Named after a ship. Built in 1876 & rebuilt in 1877. The light flashes white on the channel side & red on the Shoal side and has a fog horns which emit a blast every 20 seconds when in use.

Built in 1866, Dual purpose light, it served as a coastal light and acts as a guide for vessels nearing Coos Bay, known for its perilous rocks & reefs.
