A nice foreground image and one perfect for a winter card. I've stamped it in white pigment ink over a blue scene and added white gel pen dots to the branches to represent an icy limb with tiny crystals developing on its surface. The spiny appearance of this design used this way gives the impression of a delicate object that can crack if touched. The spiny appearance of this design also works well for arid themes such as some sage brush or a tumbleweed in the foreground. Another application might be a Halloween card where it's prickly digits say "beware"!
