Stampscapes® Triptych: Page II

Going home. Where exacly is that? Is it a place? Is it a time? Is it a state of mind? What is it that calls some to that area of familiarity? What causes some to want to forget? I guess home has a different meaning for each individual.

Scene 1) Ducks are drawn by the ancient instinctual urges to fly to this seasons home. Across a night sky Star Cluster-118E and Cloud Cumulus Lg-019G form the backdrop for Migrating Birds-152D & Migrating Birds Lg-151E. The Solo Duck-162A also makes an appearance. Bare Branch Lg-122F & Leaf Sprig-127A combine to create a canopy of leaves.
Scene 2) The old Water Mill lg- 143G was one of our favorite places to hike to. Some of the older town members would tell us about the how the mill was used to crush grain before the mortar and pestle was invented. Personally, I thought the place was haunted. Leafless Limbs Lg.-053F makes a nice border to frame off this rustic structure. Cloud Cumulus- 018E provides soft night sky figures to contrast against the lines of the mill.
Scene 3) Ahh, there it is. After the long walk in the woods our Cabin-140E is a beautiful sight. It rests at the end of a Curvilinear Road- 145 F & is nestled in the arms of a Pine Row-150E and Spruce Tree Lg-078F which points us back....... Points us back home. STAMPSCAPES®.
