Here's a scene that I did for Joan Wear's scenic stamping BIO Swap. It's an updated version of a composition that I did in 1986 for a Stampers Sampler spread. I figured it was time to revisit some scenes using the techniques that I've learned in the ensuing years. I wanted to give the scene some altitude by putting a line of clouds midway up the ledge and to put the distant mountains interspersed between clouds as if we were on top of Everest. The scene was missing something during the process so I placed the branches on the ledge which wouldn't exist at high altitudes but I said, "Who cares? It looks good."
