This waterfall scene started out as a "Simplescapes" lesson but I took so long on the scratching portion of the scene that it couldn't go in there. The approach on this scene is simplistic but the process took a while due to the size of the scene. It wasn't what I had in mind when I started but I like where the scene took me. One definition of "art" that I read is that "Art is what takes place between the initial concept and the final result". One shouldn't be fearful of trying something new in the name of growth. Take a chance and try and learn from the experience. I think I've taken a lot from this scene here as far as volumes and textures that I'll apply in future scenes.
