Scene by Verna Angerhofer 2008

This scene was stamped with Black Staz-On ink. Then I took a light colored crayon and made a resist by coloring in a few tiles on the roof and also the rocks along the mill foundation. I then used a finger sponge to add color with inks to the scene. After I had the scene colored I took a paper towel and rubbed off the areas where the crayon had been placed. To make the water fall from the paddle wheel I took a white Galaxy Pen and colored in the water and made it try to resemble it splashing up when it hit the surface of the water below.
