Scene by Verna Angerhofer 2009

I framed the scene with some of my Nestabilities diecuts. Forgive me as I am new at using those, too, so perhaps they are not the best. I stamped the saying and the images with Black Staz-on ink. The Stampscapes images used are: Lakeside Cabin 147F; Fisherman in Boat 187B; and the sentiment is from Plate 29B: "Scenic Sentiments Sheet #3. I colored in with a combination of Tombow markers and some dye inks using sponges to add color. The birds were hand drawn and perhaps that was a mistake as I am not that great at even simple things like that. But of course, the images and verse were really very easy to work with as they are deeply etched in the rubber.
