Note: In this scene Karen has controlled her lighting by the usage of tone. In order for the bolts to stand out, and define them as the illumination within her scene, she added a variation of blue dyes around the lightning image with the Tonal Applicator (being careful not to stamp out the bolts in the process). To extend the temperature range of the scene, yellow was then added to the bolts and hut roofing. To finalize this tropical scene, Karen then added an element of "sparkle" to the scene by placing white dots in the sky as if suspended crystal particles were reflecting the light.
