Crepuscular Rays 115G was stamped out in Marvy Uchida's "Dark Brown" #18.
The Tonal Applicator 084E was used with a Marvy "Bubble Gum Pink" #67. The Tonal Applicator was used in an outside of card -to inside motion. Some areas have been left the white of the card to reinforce the notion of emanating light rays. Note: These days, I'm primarily using a Stylus Tool to do a similar color application to the cards.
The T.A. was used in Marvy "Pale Orange" #16.
The T.A. was used in Marvy "Ochre" #13.
The T.A. was used in Marvy "Brown" #6.
The Tonal Applicator (Rays) 117E was used in a Marvy "Dark Brown" #18. Note: the T.A. (Rays) design isn't used in the same manner as the 084E (regular Tonal Applicator). The T.A. (Rays) is used in more of a traditional stamping manner in terms of achieving individual impressions. In this case it's to extend the rays of the 115G image. I stamped the T.A. (Rays) image pointed in towards the center of the 115G image with each impression. Also, I didn't color the very tip of the T.A. (Rays) to avoid a rounded shape towards the center of the scene.
The T.A. 084E was used in Marvy "Rose Pink" #57. Note: I like to add more color after using the T.A. (Rays) image to smooth out the added rays.
The T.A. was used in Marvy "Dark Brown" #18.
Cloud (Cumulus) 018E was stamped in Marvy "Brown" #6 and dots were added to the scene using Pentel "Milky Gel Rollers". Note: The cloud adds additional texture and depth to the scene while the dots accent, highlight, and can also reinforce the emanating rays feeling.
Below: Two extra, finished examples of this technique.
