It sure does feel good to get off the ship and walk around. Grandpa what Lighthouse is this? It's called Heceta Head Light and we are near Florence, Oregon. It is constructed of stone from Clackamas River. The brick & cement came from San Francisco. Both were shipped to the lighthouse location. How did the wood get here? The wood is from the Oregon Mill and shipped it by rafted to the site. Grandpa you sure know your Lighthouses. Yes, I enjoy the History of the lights. Can we go inside the light? Yes, the tour will start shortly and after the tour we must go back to the ship.
