Stone polished with the blood of previous victims cradled the pious pagoda. Threads of wild orange light sought purchase in the solid expanse of the lonely totem. Angry, untamed nature, compelled to compete with man-made gods, displayed the power of a thousand suns. All man's temples stand in ruin.
