Note: "Wild" is quite a scene by Genie in many ways. In her composition, there exists a nice variation of texture, color, and movement that harmonize well. On the original piece she has raised the animals and the ivy leaves with the use of double stick foam tape to add extra dimension. The rocky shoreline and trees have been stamped in a soft color giving the scene a sense of depth by pushing that plane back and letting the subjects (animals) stand out better. The overhanging branches finish off the scene well by capping off the top of the scene and thereby keeping the viewers eye in the composition. The color scheme is nicely balanced with both cool and warm hue that are richly applied.
