Moonlight Dreamers. I call them that as some of the faces of these figures are in completely, or mostly, in shadow. They can be used in a daylight setting but would be really dreamy with the romantic lighting of a night sky. I've always enjoyed using the expertly rendered 19th century engravings in my personal scenes as the highly detailed and professionally drawn imagery matches with the highly detailed Stampscapes imagery. These images have been cleaned up from their reproductions down to each fine line for the purpose of rubber stamp replication. I've chosen these images as they can give a certain look to scenes that remind me of the dreamy paintings the illustrator Maxfield Parrish and other Victorian era painters or the poetic Pictorialist photographs. I felt this grouping of designs could provide a fantastic selection of figurative designs to give our pieces strong focal points that are in harmony with the natural elements of Stampscapes.
