Note: Monochromatic for the most part, in blues, but very very rich nevertheless. The light is the key for me in this scene. There are bands of light and darkness from top to bottom. Foreground rocks are met with a band of darker water -that meets bright reflected clouds -that meet a band of darker banks of grass and trees --that meet the illuminated jagged mountains pushed forward by a blue sky --that opens up into a thin band of clouds --that once again are defined by another thin band of blue.
