"Soft Light" by Renee' Wendinger, MN 1999.
Images: Oak Branch 203, Lakeside Cabin 147F, Cloud Cumulus 018E, Pine Row 150E, Waterside Bluff Left 148F, Waterside Bluff Right 149F, Geese in Flight Lg. 040B, and Tonal Applicator 084E.
Medium: Glossy card stock and dye-based inks.
Note: This card was submitted for the Stampscapes® Drawing. As with Renee's other works, her usage of shadow to define light really makes this card "sing" with depth in richness and emotion. The Waterside Bluffs are used very effectively by being stacked (stamped twice) on each side of the cared to define the body of water. The Lakeside Cabin was also used in a way that I haven't seen much before, if any, in that she only stamped the image from the ground up (no reflections) and thus turning it into a cabin on a bluff --thus extending the possibility of the image.
